Foggy morning over Slave Lake

After many smoky days, Sept. 6 was foggy instead, offering this view of Slave Lake from the cemetery hill. Meanwhile, a male deer stood frozen on the slope below, waiting to see what the photographer was going to do next.
Over the years, the view from the lookout has shrunk, due to the growth of communications towers, trees and shrubs. Might it be time for the Town of Slave Lake to consider the creation of a proper viewing point?
