Fried chicken and rain in moderation

Nature is a good reminder that there can be too much of a good thing.

With the recent heat wave, rain barrels are drying. Gravel roads are extra dusty, and the number of wildfires has increased. However, if we get too much rain too fast there can still be flooding.

In the summer of 2019, there was the largest wildfire in the history of the Slave Lake Forest Area and the second ‘100 year’ flood in Marten Beach.

Other things which are good in moderation, but dangerous in excess are work, sleep, TV, video games, fried chicken, alcohol, exercise, volunteering, and pretty much everything.
