Gilwood golf club offering a new ‘intermediate’ membership

Gilwood Golf Club is hoping to make membership more attractive to people in the 19 – 25-year-old range. To do that, it has created a new membership category for the 2018 season called ‘Intermediate.’
So, whereas a Junior membership is $380 and a single adult membership is $1,000, the Intermediate checks in at $600.
According to an email sent out last week, membership rates otherwise stay the same for 2018. Besides the above-mentioned, that includes a family membership for $1,940, a husband-and-wife membership for $1,730 and a 15-and-under junior for $150.
It probably goes without saying (but we’ll say it anyway) that Gilwood would very much like to sell 2018 memberships now, so as to help with the cash flow situation over the off-season. It can be done easily enough online, at gilwood.ca. Another option is to download the membership form, fill it out, scan it and email it to [email protected]
Anyone who purchases a 2018 membership before the end of November qualifies for the early bird draw.
