Wayne Bacon, right, and his MRC crew were hard at it on Sept. 7, painting and flooding the second arena in preparation for the season. It turns out there’s a lot of hose involved in the job, and it takes several people to manipulate it so the flooding goes smoothly. In other MRC news, minor hockey tryouts started last week, and a three-on-three tournament is scheduled for Sept. 16 and 17.
