The Slave Lake RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in obtaining any information regarding an altercation inside the Slave Lake Inn and Conference Centre.

On January 6th, at 1:51 a.m. two males entered the hotel to purchase off-sales alcohol. There was an argument regarding the exchange of money and one of the males produced an accelerant that is alleged to have been bear spray. The employees were sprayed and both males fled from the scene.

A 36-year-old male was later located and arrested. He was charged with several criminal code offences. This matter is still under investigation.

Anyone with information to assist with the investigation, please contact the Slave Lake RCMP at 780-849-3999. If you see something suspicious, report it to your local police.
