Fourteen teams took part in the annual Kinuso Men’s Bonspiel on the first weekend in March. It was in direct competition with the Slave Lake Oilmen’s and had almost as many teams.

The format was called ‘Every Win Pays Cash.’

Winning the A Event was the Leon Giroux rink, over Young Guns, skipped by Austin McLaughlin. Curling with Giroux were Ralph Davis, Dwayne Davis and Phaton Davis.

The B Event winner was the Peter Nygaard rink, over Bryce Dowd. Other members of the Nygaard rink were Chris Hanson, Chris Marx and Robert Nygaard.

Taking the C Event was Kelly Bigcharles, over the Kris Malanowich rink. Curling with Bigcharles were a trio of Twins – Brandon, Darren and Cory.
