MP Viersen highlights Conservative’s plan for fall session

To the Editor:

While it has been a busy summer meeting with constituents and hearing their concerns, I am excited to be back in Parliament so we can get results for Canadians and undo the damage of the past ten years.

Conservatives will continue to oppose what is wrong, to expose what is hidden, and to propose what is in the national interest.

Our priorities for the fall session will be:

  • The Liberal cost-of-living crisis
  • The Liberal job-loss crisis
  • The Liberal crime crisis
  • The Liberal immigration crisis

We will also propose solutions to the problems the Liberals have caused:
  • Build a stronger take-home pay with lower costs and more jobs.
  • Create safe streets by locking up the criminals Liberals have turned loose.
  • Secure borders by hitting the breaks on immigration and ending the wage-suppressing, job-killing Temporary Foreign Worker program to put Canadian workers first.
  • Establish a self-reliant Canada by through the Canadian Sovereignty Act which will open our country for business, cut taxes and government approval times on building pipelines, powerlines, rail-lines, LNG and nuclear plants, homes, and more.

Canada’s Conservatives want a safe and affordable country like we had before this Liberal government. Our goal is to bring down costs, lock up criminals, hit the brakes on immigration, get shovels digging and deliver paycheques in pockets.
