Mr. Mike’s Steakhouse Casual is doing its ‘Deeds Well Done’ program for a fifth straight year. The Slave Lake franchise put out the word last week it is seeking nominations for the program.
“The fifth-annual Deeds Well Done will run from November 20 to December 31, during which time guests can nominate a registered charity in their community,” says a release from Mr. Mike’s that came out on the first day of that period. “One registered charity from each of MR MIKES® 37 markets will receive $500 from the franchise, resulting in more than $18,000 being donated to charities throughout Canada.”
Deeds Well Done was launched in 2013 to inspire people in each MR MIKES® market to reflect on what’s truly important during the holiday season as well as give back to their community. The 2016 Deeds Well Done program resulted in $16,000 being donated to local charities in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, with 253 nominations collected from 32 communities. Since launching in 2013, MR MIKES® has donated over $40,000 to local charities through the Deeds Well Done program.
Nominations can be made online by visiting, or by visiting the restaurant.
