Wayne Lambert and Smokin’ Country Band perform during the Métis Citizens’ Gathering Banquet and Dance on Aug. 22 at the Slave Lake Multi Rec-Centre. The banquet and dance were part of the Métis Citizens’ Gathering, which took place from Aug. 20 to 22 in Slave Lake. The evening featured live fiddle and country music, jigging, dancing, and an opportunity for Métis Citizens to come together in celebration.
