The CN Rail track through Slave Lake is getting some new rails. Those are the very long ones lying alongside the existing track. Kate Fenske of CN says it’s a two-mile stretch through town getting the new rails. Three crossings are also being re-habbed. Earlier, 15 miles of rail was replaced between Canyon Creek and Kinuso.
