Obituary – Clarence Gordon Norris

October 17, 1939 – February 25, 2024

Clarence Norris, born in Slave Lake Alberta passed away on Sunday February 25th, 2024 in Johnsons Crossing Yukon at the age of 84 years. He is pre-deceased by his mother Mabel Norris & father Edward Norris, Sisters Janette McKay, Dorothy Pederson, Francis Boyd, Ethyl Ulm, and brother Lloyd Norris.

Clarence will be dearly missed by his loving partner Lena Moon, brother Edward Norris, Children; Catherine Miller (John Miller) Victoria Norris (Mark Cramer), Karen Abbott (Charlie McElderry), Barry Norris (Nettie Banman), James Norris (Hannah Norris) stepchildren; Cory, Candace, CJ, Dora Smith, Joseph Smith, Michael Smith and Steven Smith.

Grandchildren; Contessa, Derrik and Charmaine Abbott; Joshua Norris, Bethany Speakman-Percival(Peter Percival) Shalome, Shiloh and Hannah Hope; Earl Abbott, Katie Norris, and Huxley Norris.

Great grandchildren; Daysha, Samantha, Victoria and Sandro; Savannah, Iyoxna-u and Iyatoh; Aurora, Hunter and Mason; Ally, Syanne, Marajade and Zion Percival and one great great grandchild; Blessed.

Clarence was proud of his Metis Heritage and was an active community member of the Metis Nation of Alberta. Clarence was a true outdoorsman, he was an excellent horseman and gifted musician. His music will be dearly missed.

His ashes are to be interned in Slave Lake Alberta at a memorial service on
July 6th, 2024
