June 29, 1955 – January 2, 2023

On January 2, 2023, Daniel “Dan” Neil Durocher lost his courageous battle with cancer at the age of 67 years.

He will be remembered by his loving partner of 10 years, Dawn Rankeillor; daughter, Cindy (Trever) Sparrow; son, David; stepchildren:Terrilyn Choi (Justin Morton), April (Jared) Wolff, Ken (Sydney) Rankeillor, and Lucas Rankeillor grandchildren: Caitlin Sparrow, Arianna and Madelyn Choi, Annabelle and Genevieve Wolff and Hayden Rankeillor; sisters: Stella Schlamp, Brenda (Don) Mudle, Sheila (Bob) Primeau, and Debbie (Les) Koochin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Dan was predeceased by his father, William Durocher; mother, Margaret Leonard and brother, Bill Durocher.

Dan had a larger-than-life personality and was always the life of the gathering. He was quick whitted and loved to tease everyone. He was a friend to all and helped anyone and everyone that needed it.

A Memorial Service will be held at Pickardville Catholic Church, 5302 – 50 Ave, Pickardville, AB, on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
