September 14, 1953 – November 8, 2022

Darrell Thomas Cuthbert was born at home on September 14, 1953, followed three days later by his twin sister, Darlene. He grew up on the family farm at Kinuso.

Darrell spent his entire career working in the oilfield. He worked for Lindsey Construction for many years. Later, he was employed at Exact Oilfield, and retired after working for Prax.

Darrell loved many sports and enjoyed cheering on the Oilers in the winter and the Blue Jays in the summer.

Darrell was predeceased by his parents Ted & Virgie Cuthbert, his father-in-law Ervin Sloan, his brother-in-law Walter Ewanciw. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shelly, his three sons Dino (Gillis), Greg (Lindsey), and Todd. His four precious grandchildren, Ben, Jane, Owen, and Quinn. His brothers Ronald (Barb), Jim (Clair), his sisters Jeanette (Kerry Heathman), Shirley, Darlene (Ken Ospachuk), mother-in-law Mona Sloan, sister in laws Cindy (Lawrence Lyda) and Dawn (Russ Derby) as well as fourteen nieces and nephews.
