Obituary – Florence Siegert

1926 – February 16, 2021

We will miss her dearly. Florence passed away peacefully at Edmonton General Hospital on February 16, 2021. She was a long time resident of Widewater, until relocating to Slave Lake. Most people remember her walking everywhere and working at IGA bakery. Well known for her banana bread and fruit cakes, which customers loved. She worked for Forestry, volunteered at the Friendship Centre and she was friends with and worked closely with the RCMP.
She is survived by her son Walter, daughters Diane and Ronnie, son-in-law Rich, two grandchildren Candy and Tyler, three great grandchildren and three little Yorkies she so adored.

  1. I am sorry to hear of your moms passing. I have many memories of her patience with us kids growing up in wide water. She always welcomed us into your home. I am thinking of you and wish you comfort in your memories of your mom.
