It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Grant Baird, on August the 19th, 2022, in Slave Lake, Alberta at the age of 87.
Left to mourn his loss are his loving children: Sheila (Frank), Glenn (Maureen), and Doug (Connie); his 5 beloved grandchildren: Carla, Jayme, Joel, Jayson (Kelsey), and Lyndsay (Brent); his beloved great- grandchildren: Rhys, Kaizek, Dayven, Lexi, Liam, Bowen, and Maverick; his sister Sylvia (Dale), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Grant was predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Violet, his brothers Ronald (Anita), Merle ( Marilyn/ Lorna), his son Terry, and his grandson Drew.
A celebration of Grant’s life will be held on Saturday, September the 17th, 2022, at 1:00pm at the Gathering Place in Slave Lake, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation in his memory be made to a charity of your choice and wear favorite sports jersey
or hat to service.
