July 3, 1957 – December 13, 2022
Myrna Maxine (McInnis) Franklin was born on July 3, 1957 to her two adoring parents Art and Madge, who have gone on before her. Myrna passed away on Dec. 13, 2022 surrounded by her husband Eric, and her three sons; Travis (Candice), Jared (Juliana) and Aaron (Kara). She will be forever loved by her grandchildren, Ryan, Kaylee, Stoli, Laine and Timber and they will share her memory with her 6th grandchild due to arrive in February. Myrna’s siblings, Larry and Suzy (Mike) along with an abundance of extended family and friends will endlessly hold her memory in their hearts.
Myrna loved sunshine and in the summer you could find her spending time at “Franklin Beach” or for many years, enjoying life on the houseboat; that is, when she was not holding a staining brush. She loved to join a campfire, where her quick-witted humour would make everyone smile. Myrna had a high sense for fashion and loved shopping; she always just “had to have it” and this extended to her grandchildren too. She gave herself the nickname of “Glam-Ma” and this role brought her the ultimate happiness.
Myrna will always be remembered for her enormous heart, zest for life, unforgettable and contagious laugh, the twinkle in her eye, and her overwhelmingly kind, gentle and generous soul.
The number of lives she had the opportunity to touch was immeasurable and she is dearly missed.
