Obituary – Ridley, Maurice

Passed: September 14, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Maurice passed away on September 14, 2013 in the Slave Lake hospital at the age of 73. Maurice was a long-time resident of Slave Lake however; he was born and raised on a farm in the Busby, Alberta area with his parents, brother and
sister. His generous heart, sense of humor and adventure are just a few of his characteristics that will be missed. Maurice is lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 38 years, Elaine. His children, Tom (Christina), Frazer (Jennifer), Anna Jean (Robert) and Nancy ( Hagen). His grandchildren, Levi, Kianna, Avery, William, Heathe, Jakob, Lydia, and Kaleb. His sister Phyllis and his brother Dennis (Rosalyn). Maurice was
predeceased by his father, George Ernest Ridley, his mother, Anna Margaret Ridley and his brother in law, Donald Cramer. Our family would like to express our appreciation to the staff in acute care, and Long Term Care at the Slave Lake Hospital for the outstanding care and compassion they gave to Maurice and our family over the years. We would also like to send thanks to all of our family and friends who were there to support our family during this difficult time. Your thoughts, prayers and help will never be forgotten. A memorial service was held for Maurice on September 20, 2013 at The Gathering place in Slave Lake.
