Pee Wee pride

A great season overall,’ is how Bumpy Churchill, assistant coach with the Slave Lake Pee Wee ‘A’ Thunder describes the 2017/2018 campaign. The team won a zone championship and qualified for the Pee Wee ‘B’ provincials in LaCrete. They went 1-2-1 in the tournament, losing in the semi-finals to Elk Point.
“Our team would like to give the town of LaCrete a big thumbs up on their hospitality,” says Churchill, adding a big ‘thank you’ to all the team’s sponsors this season. Another thank you goes to two affiliated players who helped out at provincials – Ethan Ching and Salah Baalbaki.
