Player moves from Slave Lake Icedogs

Two new signings, one departure

Further to last week’s article on Slave Lake’s Junior hockey team, the Icedogs have seen a couple of roster adjustments since that report.

General manager Lauren Barr tells The Leader she has signed two more players. One is a forward from Ukraine – Oleksii Kladiiov. The other is Kyle Many Fingers, who played last season with the Kainai Braves of the Ranchland Hockey League. Depending on the source, Many Fingers is listed as either a defenceman or a forward.

Nelson Schiiler, the Icedogs’#1 goalie this past season, will play for the Williston State College Tetons in Williston North Dakota, Barr says.

The final roster change is the departure of Tyrell Barore, who has signed with the Barrhead Bombers of the rival WSHL, Barr says.
