Remember when?

The latest submission from the archives at the Rotary Club of Slave Lake Library is this set of photos of the Grizzly Tower, during its restoration. It’s a fire lookout tower – long since abandoned – located in the high country south of Canyon Creek. Back in the 1990s a group of local people got together and rebuilt it. Kevin Willis was one of them and the photos were donated to the archive by him. The archives welcome further donations of such documents of historical interest.
