Winners of the Slave Lake Rotary Club’s annual NHL playoff pool gather to celebrate another season of friendly competition and fundraising. This picture was taken on June 25. From left to right: Sue Deas (Rotarian), AJ Crrell, collecting on behalf of his grandfather, Dennis Hawthorne; Dick Carrell, Grant Talaga, Pat Potvin, Terry Kristoff, Paul Caffaro, and Barb Carrell (Rotarian). Missing from the photo are Brian Hay, Trevor Vance, Leslie Logan, Greg Longbottom, Dion Poitras and Ken Carpenter. The long-running hockey pool is a small Rotary fundraiser that brings local hockey fans together each year.
