SL Derby 2026 draws strong crowd despite wet weather

Roaring engines, crunching metal, and cheering spectators filled the Slave Lake Motocross Association Grounds as the 2026 Crash for CashDemolition Derby returned for another successful weekend on July 11 and 12.

Despite rainy weather throughout much of the weekend, attendance exceeded organizers’ expectations.

“The event was a success,” says organizer Gunner Persson. “The attendance was spectacular considering the weather over the weekend.”
