Town announces interim CAO

The Town of Slave Lake announced late last week that Gordon Lundy would be the town’s interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Lundy will begin his term effective Monday, March 9th.

Lundy held the role of CAO from 2012-2013 in the Town of Slave Lake. He has also worked in municipal leadership roles in Peace River, Barrhead, and Crowsnest Pass.

Mayor Tyler Warman said, “We are pleased to welcome back Gordon as the Town’s Interim CAO. Gordon has over 30 years’ experience in senior roles in municipal government, and we have the utmost confidence he will provide the Town with excellent leadership and management direction during this transition period.”

Lundy will remain in the CAO position for a period of six months or until the Town is able to recruit a permanent full-time CAO.
