Community members gathered at the Slave Lake multi-rec centre last week and to try their hand at painting.
The Leader wrote about the project earlier this year when we got wind that Slave Lake had been picked as one of the communities to participate in the Canada 150 mural. We were told by Jill Shepherd, Town program co-ordinator, that once the mural is completed it will take the shape of a train.
