Volunteer recognition, Part III

Slave Lake’s Girl Guides volunteers (l. to r.) TinaMarie Ritter, Ashley Miller and Brittany Cyr. Ritter is the Guide/Pathfinder leader, Miller is Brownie leader and co-comissioner and Cyr is Brownie co-leader and treasurer. They were recognized Apr. 22 at the Friendship Centre in Slave Lake.

Ladies of the Royal Purple recognized at the event were (l. to r.) Annellen Eiserman, Josephine Robinson, Marlene Gamble and Brenda Peach. The Royal Purple raises funds and with them supports many local groups in town.

The Town of Slave Lake’s volunteer tax program (helping seniors and others with their income tax returns) relies on volunteer help. Left to right are Karen Kreutzer, Joanne Manning, program coordinator Tammy Kendell, town community services director Ruth Rolfe and Elmer Kreutzer.
