In Canada, talking about the weather is a commun conversation topic. Today, you can learn some vocabulary for those rainy days.
Llueve mucho – (yweh-beh moo-choh)
This means it’s raining a lot. You can use this expression the same way you use it in English. When it’s raining hard you can say: “llueve mucho.”
Arcoiris – (ahr-koh-ee-rees)
It means rainbow. Sometimes after the rain we can see an “Arcoiris.”
Mira el arcoiris – (mee-rah ehl ahr-ko-ee-rees)
If you see a rainbow and you would like to tell someone to look at the rainbow you can say “Mira el arcoiris.”
